Julie Cannova
Julie Cannova was a big part of the Long Island Dressage Community since the early 1990s, competing with her horses, Frisco, Madison Ave, Schatzi and, most recently, Tempo. With Julie's recent relocation to Virginia, GHD hopes to be able to offer even more educational opportunities to the local horse community.
Julie has served numerous times as a volunteer for LIDCTA, now LIDA on the Horse Show Committee, the Education Committee, the Membership Committee, as Secretary, and twice as VP. In addition, she managed schooling shows for Hillcrest Sport Horse Stables.
When not in the barn or show ring, Julie runs her own, highly sought after, consulting firm specializing in Customer Satisfaction research. Prior to entering corporate market research, Julie headed a marketing consulting firm, which specialized in producing events such as the LI Psychic Fair, the LI Music Awards and Recording Industry band showcases and A&R Events for The Village Voice.
Julie brings her skills in corporate marketing, corporate management and event production to Gray Horse Equestrian Event Management.
Julie currently boards in Middleburg, Virginia and trains with Joanna Gray-Randle.
